Thermochemical investigation of NaI–glycerol–glycol (ethanediol, propane-1,2-diol, propane-1,3-diol) systems at 313.15 K
Abstract
Enthalpies of solution of NaI in glycerol–ethanediol, glycerol–propane-1,2-diol and glycerol–propane-1,3-diol mixtures have been measured at 313.15 K. The variation of the standard enthalpy of solution ΔH⊖ in relation to the content of glycols in the mixtures is discussed. The enthalpic pair interaction coefficients hEN for NaI-glycols in glycerol and NaI-glycerol in glycols vary linearly with the reciprocal electric permittivities of the glycols.
