On the origin of viscoelasticity in micellar solutions of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and sodium salicylate

Abstract

Based on n.m.r. spectroscopic results, a model to explain the specificity of soldium salicylate in producing viscolasticity in dilute micellar solutions of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide is presented.
