Determination of lead in fruit juices and soft drinks by potentiometric stripping analysis
Abstract
A method for the determination of lead in soft drinks and fruit juices is described. The method, which is based on potentiometric stripping analysis, is accurate, reproducible and requires little or no sample pre-treatment. Tin causes positive interference in the stripping signal. This interference effect can be reversed for up to 50 mg dm–3 of tin by the addition of 1 mg dm–3 of copper.
