Reaction of PtCl42– with theophylline: X-ray crystal structures of bis(theophyllinium) tetrachloroplatinate(II) and theophyllinium trichlorotheophyllineplatinate(II)

Abstract

The crystal structures of bis(theophyllinium) tetrachloroplatinate(II)(A) and theophyllinium trichlorotheophyllineplatinate(II)(B) have been determined; the PtII atom is bound to N(9) in the complex (B).
