Crystal and molecualar structure of triscyclopentadienyltitanium: the cyclopentadienyl group as a two-centre three-electron ligand
Abstract
The molecular structure determination of triscyclopentadienyltitanium shows one cyclopentadienyl ligand is bonded to the metal by only two carbons and an M.O. description in terms of a three-centre, four-electron bonding model is suggested.
