Dalpanol, a new 6′-hydroxyrotenoid from a Dalbergia species

Abstract

Dalbergia paniculata contains a new rotenoid, shown to be (6aS, 12aS, 5′R)-6′-hydroxy-6′7′-dihydrorotenone (II). It is the first rotenoid to be found in the Dalbergia genus of the Leguminosae.
