Crystallographic evidence for the existence of the phases In4Se3 and In4Te3 which contain the homonuclear triatomic cation (In3)5+
Abstract
The compounds previously reported as In2Te and In2Se are shown to be In4Te3 and In4Se3 respectively; both materials contain the cation (In3)5+, which is analogous to the recently proposed (Hg3)2+.
