Reactions of complex fluorides of some 3d metals in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride

Abstract

Elemental fluorine is generated chemically, and xenon is fluorinated, by certain fluorometallates in HF solution; solvolysis of MnF62– and NiF62– with AsF5 in HF gives MnF4 and NiF3.
