The chemical effects of nuclear transformations in the alkali chlorides. Part II. Analytical problems with sulphur-35
Abstract
35 S released in an alkali chloride matrix is present in four chemically distinguishable forms. An analytical procedure enabling one to determine their proportions is described. Evidence is given that the four products, sulphide, thiocyanate, sulphite, and sulphate, separated in the process are derived from four different lattice entities.
