A binuclear dihydride of iron, H2Fe2(CO)6[P(CF3)2]2

Abstract

The reaction of Fe(CO)5 or Fe3(CO)12 with (CF3)2PH gives H2Fe2(CO)6[P(CF3)2]2, which exists as a mixture of cis- and trans-isomers in solution.
