N-chlorodifluoromethylenimine, CF2[double bond, length as m-dash]NCl

Abstract

The simplest N-chloroperfluoroalkylenimine, CF2[double bond, length as m-dash]NCl, has been synthesised for the first time by thermolysis of the previously unknown NN-dichloroperhalogeno-alkylamine CF2Cl·NCl2.
