The addition of cyanogen to nickel(0)–, palladium(0)–, and platinum(0)–phosphine complexes

Abstract

A new oxidative addition reaction of d10 transition-metal phosphine complexes (the addition of cyanogen) involves the breaking of a carbon–carbon bond to give dicyano-complexes.
