Intramolecular catalysis in the acylation of amidoximes

Abstract

Amidoximes are highly reactive towards p-nitrophenyl acetate, benzoyl fluoride, and ethyl chloroformate in the pH range 6–9, the catalytic action increasing with lability of the leaving group.
