Measurement by e.s.r. of free radical concentrations, and electron exchange kinetics in solutions of potassium pentacyanonitrosochromate
Abstract
The advantages and disadvantages of using low magnetic fields when measuring concentrations of free radicals by electron resonance spectroscopy are discussed and several ways of integrating the differentiated absorption line which is usually obtained are considered. A spectrometer operating at 130 gauss is described.
The determination of the rate constants for the electron exchange between anions of potassium pentacyanonitrosochromate, K3Cr(CN)5NO . H2O, in several solvents is described.
