Pyrazolo-as-triazines. Part I

Abstract

Pyrazolo[3,2-c]-as-triazines have been prepared by interaction of diazotised 3-aminopyrazole and a β-keto-acid or ester, an α-cyano-ester, or a β-diketone, or by condensation of 3-hydrazinopyrazole and an α-diketone. Acylation and hydrogenation of the 3,4-dimethyl derivative yielded 6-acyl-4-methylene- and 4,6-dihydro-derivatives, respectively. Cerrain pyrazolotriazines are active inhibitors of tumour growth.
