Steric shelter-free cobalt nanoparticle-based high-sensitive biomimetic superoxide anion sensor
Abstract
Here, unique cobalt nanoparticles were deposited on nitrogen-doped graphene as an enzyme-free biomimetic sensor for superoxide anion detection with excellent selectivity, high sensitivity and a fast response. Moreover, the enhancement mechanism of the lack of steric sheltering for the biomimetic catalysis was revealed, and this holds great promise for using a biomimetic sensor to replace bioenzyme-based ones for applications.
