Multirole organic-induced scalable synthesis of a mesoporous MoS2-monolayer/carbon composite for high-performance lithium and potassium storage†
Abstract
Herein, we reported a mesoporous MoS2-monolayer/carbon composite as an advanced anode for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) and potassium-ion batteries (KIBs). Using the toluene/water emulsion as a pore template and oleylamine (OAm) as an assistant, a multirole organic-induced scalable synthesis is described. The material exhibits superior cycling stability and high specific capacities of 1001 mA h g−1 for LIBs and 323 mA h g−1 for KIBs at 100 mA g−1.
