Single-pot synthesis of ordered nanoporous amorphous H-Zn-Aluminosilicate for bulky molecular catalysis

Abstract

We are reporting a simple, one-pot synthesis method of nanoporous H-Zinc-Aluminosilicate (HZnAlSi) from a Na-free chemical mixture. The material exhibits strong acidity required to catalyze bulky molecular reactions generally restricted in the micro-pore zeolite. The material exhibited superior catalytic properties to give as high as 99% glycerol conversation in glycerol acetylation, with stability and reusability
