Target construction of Co3O4 with an improved layer structure for highly efficient Li-storage properties

Abstract

A mille-feuille like Co3O4 with an improved layer structure (LS) was prepared using the pre-construction method. Ameliorating the poor stability of the normal LS for conversion-reaction-based anode materials, the resulting LS-Co3O4 exhibited superior Li-storage properties, highlighting its great potential for application in the fields of energy storage and conversion.
