Recyclable heat-resisting polymer poly(ether azaindole ketone)-H+via hydrogen bonding crosslinking

Abstract

Chemically crosslinked heat-resisting polymers have many industrial applications, but are difficult to recycle or rework. We prepared a novel recyclable hydrogen bonding crosslinked polymer PEAINKH+, which possesses outstanding thermal stability including high Tg (246 °C) and Td (489 °C). And the hydrogen bonding interactions can be further removed via external alkali to recover the linear polymer PEAINK, which endows the crosslinking polymer with a recyclable behavior.
