A propanol-seamed C-methylcalix[4]resorcinarene hexamer accessible via solution crystallization, liquid-assisted grinding and vapour sorption

Abstract

A propanol-seamed hexameric assembly C-methylcalix[4]resorcinarene is shown to have a ∼25% increased interior volume over previous assemblies and is shown to be the first of these type of assemblies to be formed by vapour sorption.
