Time-resolved visual detection of heparin by accelerated etching of gold nanorods

Abstract

Plasmonic gold nanorods are promising and sensitive light scattering probes, which can reach the single particle level. Herein, we present the light scattering property of gold nanorods for time-resolved visual detection of heparin based on the rapid etching of gold nanorods under dark-field microscopy.
