Synthesis of Mordenite Nanosheets with Shortened Channel Length and Enhanced Catalytic Activity

Abstract

Mordenite nanosheets of 20-40 nm thick significantly shorterned the lengths of the parallel 12-member and 8-member ring channels, greatly facilitated the diffusion of molecules inside the micropores, and therefore remarkbaly enhanced the catalytic activity for the carbonylation of dimethyl ether.
