Highly sulfur-tolerant Pd composite membranes with a protective layer of MoS2/γ-alumina

Abstract

Sulfur-tolerant Pd-based composite membranes was developed by coating a thin layer of MoS2/γ-alumina on top of membrane surface, which acts as an “armor” to prevent H2S from direct contact with Pd membrane surface through preferential adsorption/decomposition of H2S
