Low-cost p-type dye-sensitized solar cells based on Dawson-type transition-metal-substituded polyoxometalates inorganic cosensitizers

Abstract

Photosensitizers play a crucial role in p-type dye-sensitized solar cells(p-DSSCs). In this paper, we firstly introduce two Dawson-type transition-metal-substituded polyoxometalates dyes to co-sensitize the NiO electrode and achieve a overall power conversion efficiey(PCE) of 0.0464%, which is the highest value for inorganic photosensitizers in p-DSSCs.
