A facile synthetic route for the morphology-controlled formation of triazine-based covalent organic nanosheets (CONs)

Abstract

A new type of organic framework was synthesized via two different routes, a solvothermal reaction and conventional refluxing, via a Stille cross-coupling reaction. The resulting products from the two routes consisted of graphene-like nanosheets. Additionally, the morphologies of such polymer networks were controlled based on the synthetic route and solvent used for film formation.
