Hierarchically porous Sn-β zeolites via an OSDA-free synthesis

Abstract

Hierarchically porous Sn-β zeolites were for the first time synthesized via a low-cost and environmentally-benign strategy without using organic structure directing agent, which still showed higher catalytic performance for triose sugar (DHA) into lactate than the traditional nano-sized Sn-β zeolites synthesized with expensive tetraethylammonioum hydroxide.
