Chromium doped Li2RuO3 as a positive electrode with superior electrochemical performance for lithium ion batteries

Abstract

Cr-doped Li2RuO3 of Li2Ru1-xCrxO3 (x=0, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1) series were successfully synthesized and the effect of Cr on electrochemical performance of Li2RuO3 was systematically investigated. The results show that Li2Ru0.95Cr0.05O3 exhibits best performance in terms of capacity, rate capability and cycling stability.
