Comparative Study for the Plasmonic-Enhanced Single-Molecule Fluorescence Induced by Gold Nanoantennas and the Application for Illuminating Telomerase

Abstract

A comparative study for the plasmonic-enhanced single-molecule fluorescence (PESMF) induced by four gold nanoantennas is reported. Gold triangular nanoplate (Au TNP) is the optimal PESMF substrate for Cy5.5 owing to the sharpest point and strongest electric fields. Au TNP is chosen to prepare the telomerase sensor.
