Europium ion post-functionalized indium metal-organic frameworks hybrid system for fluorescence detecting aromatics

Abstract

Eu3+ functionalized In-MOF (In(OH)bpydc, bpydc = 2,2’-bipyridine-5,5’dicarboxylate) hybrid system In-MOF-Eu with dual-emission is selected for fluorescence sensing benzene homologues (BTEX) in both vapor and liquid. Fluorescence test paper and 2D decoded map are designed to provide the potential for the convenient distinction of BTEX.
