Luminescent diphosphine fluorophenylthiolate silver(i) compounds that exhibit argentophilic interactions

Abstract

New luminescent discrete diphosphine fluorothiolate silver(I) compounds are presented. In these compounds, slight variations in the fluorophenylthiolate ligand structure, which change the fluorine atom position, induce a change in the observed crystal structures, giving rise to argentophilic interactions as well as different conformations and shifting the luminescence emission maxima.
