Sensing trace arsenate by surface enhanced Raman scattering using a FeOOH doped dendritic Ag nanostructure†
Abstract
Arsenic detection, far below the WHO's permissible limit, is reported using SERS studies. A stable deliverable FeOOH doped dendritic nanostructured Ag surface, obtained from a chosen galvanic reaction under ice cold conditions, serves well as a SERS substrate, which affirms affinity based arsenic detection down to ∼10−10 M level.
