A new class of color-tunable electroluminescent ruthenium(ii) phenanthroline emitters

Abstract

A novel class of electroluminescent Ru Π-extended phenanthroline complexes has been demonstrated to possess EL properties. Tunable electroluminescences from 508 to 565 nm have been achieved by adjusting the Π-extended ligand substitution of ruthenium complexes.
