Effect of mineralization agents on the surface structure and dielectric properties of SrTiO3 nanocrystals

Abstract

In this communication, strontium titanate (SrTiO3) nanocrystals with tailored surface structures have been synthesized by the hydrothermal method using potassium hydroxide (KOH) and lithium hydroxide (LiOH) as the mineralization agents. The results show that the surface structure adjusted by introducing different mineralization agents dictates not only the corresponding size and shape but also the dielectric properties of the obtained SrTiO3 nanocrystals.
