Single crystalline LiNb3O8 nanoflakes for efficient photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants

Abstract

Single crystalline LiNb3O8 nanoflakes with high specific surface area were successfully synthesized by using a facile thermal annealing process. The as-prepared nanoflakes exhibited great chemical stability, efficient charge separation properties, and unprecedented photocatalytic activities for the decomposition of toluidine blue O dye (TBO).
