Polyethylenes bearing a terminal porphyrin group

Abstract

An α-[Cu(II)-porphyrin]-polyethylene was synthesized for the first time using copper catalyzed 1,3-dipolar azide–alkyne Huisgen cycloaddition yielding highly colored moiety-substituted polyethylene.
