Low-temperature sintering of BaZrO3 and BaCeO3 barrier materials

Abstract

BaCe0.99Y0.01O3 – δ ceramics with a density over 95% was obtained by free sintering at 1000 °C using a combination of a fine precursor powder with a melt-forming sintering aid.
