Bis(imino)pyridine cobalt alkyl complexes and their reactivity towards ethylene: a model system for β-hydrogen chain transfer

Abstract

Bis(imino)pyridine cobalt(I) n-alkyl complexes react with ethylene by β-hydrogen transfer, allowing direct study of a termination step commonly encountered in polymerisation and oligomerisation catalysis.
