Observation of 18O solvent-induced isotope shifts in 19F NMR signals

Abstract

H218O solvent-induced isotope shifts, which have differing dependence on the level of 18O-enrichment, have been observed in the 19F NMR signals of F– and 5-fluorouridine, but are absent in 5-fluorouracil.
