A mainly 13C nuclear magnetic resonance investigation of some indolo[2,3-a]quinolizinylium salts

Abstract

Several indolo[2,3-a]quinolizinylium derivatives have been studied by 1H and 13C n.m.r. spectroscopy. Two-dimensional carbon–proton correlation measurements and selective deuteriations have allowed complete 13C assignment. Some stereochemical conclusions have been drawn.
