Differential-pulse voltammetric behaviour and analysis of selected oxyanions at the hanging mercury-drop electroded

Abstract

Differential-pulse voltammetric methods have been developed and applied to the determination of trace concentrations of CrO42–, WO42–, MoO42– and VO3 and the effects of cationic and anionic interferences evaluated. Limits of detection and quantitation have been calculated for the differential-pulse voltammetric determination of the oxyanions CrO42–, WO42–, MoO42– and VO3. The selectivity of this technique for the determination of one oxyanion in the presence of the others has also been investigated and compared with that obtained by HPLC separation and UV-electrochemical detection.
