Electron spin resonance studies of valinomycin Na+–TCNE ion pairs

Abstract

The existence of a valinomycin Na+–TCNE tight ion-pair complex in benzene solutions is demonstrated by e.s.r. spectroscopy and possible conformational changes in the antibiotic complex are detected.
