The reactions of electrophilic reagents with trialkylcyanoborates: some new efficient ketone syntheses

Abstract

Trialkylcyanoborates can be used in the preparation, in high yield, of the corresponding dialkyl ketones, by treatment with an electrophilic reagent followed by alkaline hydrogen peroxide.
