Starfish-like Au–CdS hybrids for the highly efficient photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes

Abstract

Starfish-like Au–CdS hybrids were prepared through a simple self-assembly method at room temperature, which demonstrated high efficient photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes, due to the enhancement of visible light absorption and charge separation.
