Vibrational levels of a diatomic molecule

Abstract

A simple non-iterative method for the numerical determination of all the vibrational eigenvalues of a diatomic molecule is presented. Examples are given of its application. When applied to the hydrogen molecule no 16th vibrational level further from the dissociation limit than 10 cm–1 has been found.
