Aggregation-enhanced FRET-active conjugated polymer nanoparticles for picric acid sensing in aqueous solution

Abstract

A conjugated polymer with aggregation-enhanced FRET activity has been used for fluorescence sensing of picric acid in aqueous solution. Well-dispersed nanoparticles were formed by this polymer in water, which exhibited strong orangish-red emission, low interference, and significant sensing ability with a Ksv of 3.4 × 104 M−1.
