The design of a multifunctional dendrimer-based nanoplatform for targeted dual mode SPECT/MR imaging of tumors

Abstract

A multifunctional folic acid-targeted dendrimer-based nanoplatform was designed to have both Mn(II) and 99mTc loaded via chelation. The formed nanoplatform displays good stability, cytocompatibility and hemocompatibility in a given concentration range, and can be used for targeted dual-mode single-photon emission computed tomography/magnetic resonance imaging of tumors.
