Silver/carbon-quantum-dot plasmonic luminescent nanoparticles

Abstract

Silver/carbon-quantum-dot plasmonic luminescent nanoparticles with a silica interlayer were synthesized through layer-by-layer assembly. The plasmonic and luminescent properties can be tuned by controlling the thickness of the silica layer.
