Abstract
Interdisciplinary research integrating biochemistry, electrochemistry, materials science and unconventional computer science has resulted in the development of electrodes and semiconductor devices functionalized with stimuli-responsive materials. Their coupling to biomolecular information processing systems allows biological control of electronics.
