Nanoengineered Sn–TiC–C composite anode for lithium ion batteries

Abstract

A Sn–TiC–C nanocomposite having a dispersion of amorphous Sn particles in a nanostructured TiC + C conductive matrix offers excellent cyclability with high capacity and rate capability in lithium ion cells.
